We are pioneer in ‘Heritage Durga Pujo Tour’ in Kolkata and districts of West Bengal since 2000 A.D
From 1996 our research team visited almost all old houses Kolkata and nearby districts to collect history rituals stories location etc behind their century old traditional durga pujo which they are celebrating generation after generation following the same.
Then we selected routes of our tours.
In early as there was not internet facilities we had our booking counters from the shops of K.C. Das, Ganguram, & C. Ringer in Kolkata.
Our team found variation in idols and rituals of these houses.
Some family worship without demon and some idols have four hands of Goddess Durga.
This year we are organising BONEDI BARIR DURGA PUJO TOUR also .
What We Do
Every year during Durga Puja, we organize curated day tours and half-day tours across Kolkata and nearby districts, covering prominent and lesser-known Bonedi Baris that have preserved their traditional Durga Puja rituals for over 100 to 300 years. These homes were once the residences of Bengal’s zamindars, aristocrats, and freedom fighters — each with a story waiting to be told.
With us, you don’t just visit these homes — you enter their world. You’ll witness intimate rituals like Kumari Puja, Sandhi Puja, traditional Dhunuchi Naach, and Sindoor Khela, explained by knowledgeable guides. You’ll explore the architectural grandeur of old Kolkata mansions and get a chance to interact with the descendants of these Bonedi families who continue to uphold their ancestral legacies.
We also include short walks around culturally significant neighborhoods, historical trivia, and delicious traditional bhog or snacks wherever possible.
